Due to rapid changes in various fields of science and technology (S & T), it is essential to keep the libraries updated with the latest advances in technology, so that the diffusion of information is effective, fast, feasible, economically viable and accessible.
The usefulness of a library depends largely on his collection. It is therefore very important that great care is needed to select and maintain a collection of good solid materials such as books, magazines, used books, reference books, dictionaries, encyclopedias and others are related information. Design and development of a library collection can meet the needs of users, such as researchers, students, researchers and others is a major task of a good library. The quality of the services and user satisfaction depends largely on the nature of the collections available. A comprehensive, balanced and updated collection of different types of documents in various physical forms are necessary to satisfy the information needs of users.
The fundamental purpose of a library is, effective services to its users. Therefore, user satisfaction are the primary goal of a good librarian. This goal can be achieved unless and until the administration of the library has a clear understanding of the needs of users and fulfills the requirements. The library should also be provided in addition to a good collection of documents and strong. provide variety of services to the needs of its users needs. to adopt new and updated technology to better services offered.
In the modern era of information explosion that led to the development of interdisciplinary areas in various fields of S & T user requirements and expectations have risen dramatically. To meet this challenge, the library must be equipped with modern tools of information storage and retrieval, so that the right information is made available to the user at the right place at the right time.

Thus, the barriers of space and time break and the world has been reduced to a “global village” where everyone instant access to information of their choice with the help of software, techniques, and network scanning technologies.
A digital library is an electronic version of a traditional library, where all information is defined stored and managed in digital form. In a digital library accessible data contains non-text information such as photos, drawings, illustrations, graphics, digital data stream (satellite information, the cosmological data) and digital moving images and three performances of D (holograms), in addition to the traditional text information on the Internet.
There are many allopathic medical schools in Uttar Pradesh, where the digitization and networking of libraries can be a boost not only for the quality and level of services to improve hospitals, but also greatly contribute to the promotion of medical education and research. But implementation of the process of digitization and networking of libraries depends largely on the role and attitude of librarians to make the process successful.
Literature Review
Many sources of information published and unpublished were consulted to develop a clear concept of the proposed study. It was observed that, the digitization and networking in the field of library and information science essential for the effective and immediate dissemination of information and the best price at the right time helped the correct user.
OBJECTIVES
The objectives of the proposed study are as follows: -
1) To assess the role and attitude of the librarians in the success of the digitization and networking in the libraries of medical schools in allopathic UP
2) To examine the size and nature of the collection in the libraries of medical schools in allopathic UP
3) To examine the level of digitization in libraries of the allopathic medical schools in UP
4) procedures for the digitization and networking in the libraries of medical schools in allopathic investigate UP
5) To study library services and facilities offered by the existing libraries of medical schools in allopathic UP

Scope
This study is based on the survey of allopathic medical college libraries in Uttar Pradesh. To this end, libraries of allopathic medical schools, which are included, which run from the Medical Council of India (MCI) for MBBS course and the right to award the degree of MBBS and other related degrees have been approved to allopathic medicine and surgery. The names of the allopathic medical schools for the proposed study will be selected given below: -

ASSUMPTIONS
A hypothesis can be seen as a generalization of the principle of the problem of the investigation will be considered. The following assumptions were made for the proposed study: -
1) The allopathic medical college libraries in Uttar Pradesh have a rich collection of documents.

4) It is imperative for the modernization of libraries allopathic medical schools in Uttar Pradesh, according to the latest techniques such as digitization and networking of libraries.
Methodology
It is expected that the following method to adopt in order to complete the proposed study: -
1) Literature Review: – This will be done by consulting the extensive literature on digitization and networking. To this end, put several books by authors and journals and documents of the seminar is being examined.
2) Questionnaire: – Implementation of the proposed study, the most important tool for data collection is the questionnaire. Therefore, a questionnaire designed to collect all important data and relevant. This questionnaire is aimed at librarians sent. After receiving the completed questionnaire data will be analyzed and interpreted in accordance with the aims of the study.
