Data Analysis and Presentation Skills: An Introduction for the Life and Medical Sciences
I teach undergraduate science majors and am furious that the students had to purchase this book. I saw that the price is over $100 now — what a shame. I am using this book for the second (and hopefully last) semester. Parts of the support website are still under construction. There are so many mistakes in the book that I’ve had to provide a list of corrections for EVERY chapter. I might also add that there are several examples of incomplete sentences in the chapters. A book that has so many mistakes and such poor grammar should never have been published. I am pushing to have this book removed from our required text list. It’s hard to find an Excel book for the sciences, but this is certainly not the answer.
